World's shortest man? Pensioner from Nepal hoping to become a record breaker measuring just 22 inches tall

Chandra Bahadur Dangi, a 72-year-old Nepali who claims to be the world's shortest man at 56 centimetres (22 inches) in height
Chandra Bahadur Dangi, pictured, a 72-year-old Nepali is just 56 centimetres or 22 inches tall. Mr Dangi says he has always been ashamed of his height but his life could be on the verge of changing if he gets official recognition in the Guinness Book of Records. The current record is held by Filipino Junrey Balawing, who measures 59.93 centimetres.
