Chelsea youngster Bertrand Traore is making his way over to Africa after being named in Burkina Faso's Africa Cup of Nations squad.
The midfielder won his first cap for his country in a friendly match in September and links up at the tournament in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon with older brother Alain, who plays for AJ Auxerre.
If Traore appears in his country's first match, against Angola on January 22, he will be the third youngest player ever to appear in the tournament, at 16 years, four months and 16 days old.
Traore could then find himself facing off against Chelsea team-mates Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou, who play for the Ivory Coast and complete the group, along with Sudan.
Ghana's Shiva Star Nzigou holds the record for youngest player at 16 years, two months and 30 days old, even scoring during the match against South Africa at the 2000 finals.
Burkina Faso only confirmed their participation in the cup on Tuesday, when the Court of Arbitration for Sport rejected a case brought by Namibia regarding the eligibility of Burkina defender Herve Zengue.
Zengue was not included in Burkina Faso's 23-man squad for the tournament.
